Pilots to Practice - presentations now available

ArtWorks North East's conference, Pilots to Practice - Learning approaches for artists working in participatory settings, took place at BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, Gateshead, in September 2014. The conference enabled artists, academics, students, commissioners and funders to learn about approaches used by artists to develop their participatory practice and find out about opportunities in this region and beyond to develop practice in this field of work.

The format for the conference included critical conversations, panel discussions, timed presentations and breakout sessions. The conference considered ArtWorks North East's pilot activities over the past couple of years and our plans for the future. The programme is downloadable below.
